Bowl Blanks

Bowl blanks processed by us are cut circular and sanded on both faces. Sanding the blanks ensures that our quality is second to none, as any faults are made easily visible.  It also produces a flat, stable surface to start work on.

Circular bowl blanks are much easier to turn than square blanks; they also allow for larger blanks to be mounted over the lathe bed as there are no corners to catch.

Supplied between 127mm (5”) and 381mm (15”) in diameter - thicknesses range from 25mm (1”) to 102mm (4”). The grain of the timber runs along the face of each blank.
