This Nickel Chrome wire is ideal for use with hot wire pyrography machines. A wide range of custom made tips can easily be made with basic tools.
It can also be used on the lathe to create decorative burnt lines in both bowl and spindle work. To create burnt lines on turned items simply cut a small groove with a skew chisel or detail point tool, then start the lathe and press the wire into the groove until a crisp line is produced. Warning: never wrap the wire around your fingers - suitable handles can be made from offcuts of wood.
