Excellent value pre-cut spoon carving blanks ideal for both beginners and experienced carvers. All blanks are individually quality checked and graded. Second grade blanks are supplied free from major defects, however some blanks may contain knots, small splits or insect holes etc. Each blank is machined to produce a flat and stable surface to start work on.
Pre-cut into a basic spoon shape, ready for carving and finishing. Each spoon carving blank measures approximately 254mm x 64mm x 25mm.

Colour: Heartwood is pale yellowish white to pale brown. Sapwood is not usually distinct from heartwood.
Grain: Straight.

Other Info: Also known as European Lime and Linden. Resists splitting in any cutting direction. Used for musical instruments, carving and turning.
