Quality blanks suitable for a variety of woodturning and carving projects. All blanks are individually labelled, quality checked and graded. First and second (FAS) grade blanks are supplied free from major defects, however some blanks may contain small knots, splits or insect holes etc. Each blank is machined to produce a flat and stable surface to start work on. The end grain of the timber is sealed with wax to prevent warping and splitting.

Colour: Heartwood is pale brown to reddish brown with grey to black streaks. Sapwood is off white.
Grain: Interlocked to irregular.
