Endopleura uchi
Origin: South America
Colour: Outside of the kernel is light brown. Inside is
greyish cream with dark reddish brown flecks throughout.
Other Info: Uxi kernels are the fruit from the Uxi tree.
The kernels have an approximate diameter of 19mm (3/4").
Used for jewellery and turning. To turn a kernel cut or sand a
flat surface on one end. Then glue to a piece of wood and fix to
the lathe using a chuck.
