Ocky's Carnauba Wax Flakes are from North East Brazil. Carnauba Wax is the hardest known natural wax. It is obtained from the film of powder that coats the leaves of the Carnauba Palm. To extract the wax the leaves are cut, bundled together and put to dry in the sun. The powder is then mechanically threshed from the leaves and graded by colour; the lighter powder originating from the younger leaves.

T3 Carnauba Wax is medium yellow/brown in colour and has a melting point of 78 - 85°C. Also known as Light Fatty Grey or No. 2 North Country grade. Widely used in the furniture polish industry because its hard characteristic gives an excellent surface shine and reduces finger marks. It is also added to candle mixtures to make them slower burning.

Each bag contains approximately 250 grams of T3 Carnauba Wax Flakes.
