Latin Name: Bulnesia sarmientoi
Origin: South America
Colour: Heartwood is light olive green to brown with streaks. Often darkens to a dark olive green on exposure. Sapwood is pale yellow.
Grain: Interlocked.
Other Info: Also known as Vera, Verawood and Palo Santo. It is one of the heaviest and hardest woods that contains natural lubricating oils. Used for mallet heads, bearings and turning.
