Ocky's Crude Montan Wax Prills are from Amsdorf, Germany and have a congealing point of 75 - 80°C. Montan Wax is a hard mineral wax that is dark brown in colour. It is obtained from lignite or brown coal deposits by solvent extraction.

Crude Montan Wax is commonly used in floor, furniture and shoe polishes - especially when a darker finish is required. It is used in many polish recipes as it improves scuff resistance, increases water repellence and gives a high gloss finish.

Each bag contains approximately 1 kilogram of Crude Montan Wax Prills.
